Bathroom renovation, block C

  • Demolition
  • Hot work on pipes
  • DustCertificate missing
  • Water shutoff
One job on a clipboard, a bathroom renovation in block C, goes into the Permia mark and four real tasks come out of it as slips, demolition, hot work on pipes, dust and a water shutoff, each with a hard hat for the person on it; three of them are ticked and the fourth, dust, has no tick and is labelled certificate missing.

A job is never just one thing

A bathroom renovation is demolition, hot work on the pipes, dust and a live water shutoff. Permia splits the job into the tasks it is really made of, and each one carries its own conditions.

The certificate has to match the work

If the task calls for a certificate the man on site does not hold, Permia says so before the work starts, not after something has gone wrong.
